I am a freshman studying Magazine, News & Digital Journalism at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. I am a Design Editor at the Daily Orange, a one hundred year old independent newspaper in Syracuse, New York. When I find some time for myself, which is not often, I am usually reading any book by my favorite author, Joan Didion. In high school, I was the Chief Design Editor for my high school’s student run newspaper, Tower. I also held the roles of Features Editor, Staff Writer, Social Media Manager and Advertising Manager. For three years, I was a paid Student Journalist for the local newspaper in my hometown, The Highlands Current.
